Frequently Asked Questions
If you cannot find your answer here, reach us via the contact page.
Which software do I need?
Most courses use Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign. Some workshops use Affinity. Check each course page for exact tools. Trials are fine for study.
How much time should I plan per week?
Expect 4–6 hours weekly for fundamentals, 6–10 for advanced cohorts. On-demand modules can be paced flexibly but maintain project deadlines for accountability.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. Full refund within 7 days for on-demand courses if under 20% completion. Cohorts are refundable up to 14 days before start; see Terms for details.
Is there a certificate?
Graduates receive a completion certificate summarizing competencies and project outcomes. We avoid inflated claims and do not guarantee jobs.
Are the courses beginner-friendly?
Yes. Our beginner track starts with layout, type basics, and accessible project briefs. You can later move into intermediate and advanced systems work.
Accessibility and accommodations
We support keyboard navigation, high-contrast themes, and transcripts. Contact us for specific accommodations and we will prepare reasonable adjustments.
Cohort vs on-demand—what’s the difference?
Cohorts include live critique, pacing, and peer review. On-demand offers flexibility and lifetime access to updates. Both include project briefs and rubrics.
Can I use student discounts on software?
Many vendors offer student pricing. We provide enrollment letters upon request after purchase to assist with discounts where available.
Do you cover freelancing or client management?
Yes—select workshops address proposals, scope, feedback cycles, and file delivery standards. We avoid financial promises and focus on process clarity.
